Daily Use & Cleaning

• Hand-washing is recommended for all pieces, especially bone china crockery and items with gold or platinum detailing.
• If using a dishwasher, always select the gentle or low-heat cycle with a mild, non-abrasive detergent.
• Use soft sponges or microfiber cloths only — harsh scrubbers can damage the glaze and finish of your fine bone china.
• Rinse pieces soon after use to prevent stains from settling, particularly from strongly coloured foods and beverages.
• Always allow your crockery to cool naturally before washing. Sudden temperature shifts — hot to cold or cold to hot — can cause cracks over time.

Gold & Platinum Tableware — Special Care

Our gold and platinum crockery pieces are finished with real metallic detailing and require extra attention.

• Do not microwave any piece with gold or platinum rims, accents, or artwork. Metallic finishes react to microwave heat.
• Avoid high-heat dishwasher cycles for all gold and platinum tableware.
• Always use gentle cleaning methods to preserve the shine and longevity of the metallic finish.

Storage & Handling

• Place a soft cloth or tissue between stacked plates and bowls to prevent surface scratches.
• Store your ceramic crockery in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight to protect the glaze and colour.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of stacked pieces — excess pressure can cause cracks.
• If your pieces are displayed on open shelves, dust them occasionally to keep them looking their best.

Cutlery Marks & Surface Care

Light grey cutlery marks may appear on the surface over time with regular use. This is completely normal and is not a manufacturing defect. They can be gently removed using a non-abrasive ceramic cleanser or a soft polishing paste. Never use bleach, harsh chemical cleaners, or abrasive tools, as these will damage the glaze of your fine bone china crockery.
